|Today is Dec 1st, 2020. How much money have you saved today?|
Okay, okay, okay... so I took my sweet time in getting a new edition out. When you're planning for a wedding, that kind of takes focus off of everything else.|
When you have two deaths in the family (Grandmother on May 4th, 2006, her son/my uncle the next day), you tend to shift focus over to your family.
It's not been an easy year for me, always having to jump around all over the place. Let me tell ya, though, I'm ready to kick things into high gear again! Not only have we worked on getting Edition 3 ready for launch with the June 6th edition of Quick and Simple (on newstands by May 31st, 2006), but we're already starting to work on Edition 4 to coincide with another appearance in Quick and Simple in September (with any luck).
I even launched an updated chat room for members and launched a brand new chat room for non members. I even managed to finagle the Matriarch of Frugal Websites herself (Kim Tilley) for a live chat on Monday, June 5th. Check the "Chat" link at the top for the time and countdown timer.
It's going to be a very busy summer for us, not only in the Hazard household (We're moving in July with any luck), but for F3 as well. I'm going to focus very heavily and make Edition 4 our biggest update ever.
It's almost summer time, which means the kids are getting out of school. My step daughter just completed her freshman year in high school and is already thinking about getting and staying busy this summer with a part time job. The wife is getting herself re-certified as a Certified Massage Therapist (she was an LMT - Licensed Massage Therapist before), hopefully she'll get her certifications done in time for my birthday -- I told her that's what I wanted for my birthday present, ROFL!
Health-wise, I'm having my moments with my eyesight, they have gotten a little worse. Blue Cross/Blue Shield rejected my PPO application, due to needing too much work done at once. I'm quite sure there may be an ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) violation somewhere and will be exploring that avenue. Big Business stopped caring about the little person a long time ago. Shame on them.
I hope you all enjoy your summer. Stay cool, stay hydrated and stay safe!
Happy summer, all!
